It's been a busy week!
I'm posting mostly pictures because I have to go to sleeep soon!
I don't remember what day it was but we ate this Taiwanese fruit. It's called 'the fruit king'. I have no idea what it really is and the taste was umm interesting : D
On tuesday we went to some kind of comic exhibition? I don't know how to call it. There were Osamu Tezuka's works like Astroboy and Black Jack. In the same place was Egypt exhibition where we also visited but taking photos was not allowed. We saw a mummy!
The museum was in this white building.
After that we went to seee grandmother and my host familys dog Anata. He was so small and cute!
On thursday we and my mama's sister and her kids went to see this traditional chinese river show. Everything is written in chinese so I don't know the real name of the show.
There were these long chinese paintings about people and life near river.
And the main point was that there were also an animated version of it.
It was really long! At least two times this long. I tried to take a video but my camera didn't want to : D
My room! It's big and I love the bed!
This is what I see when I look out of the window.
On thursday evening we went to the airport to welcome Tore to Taiwan. (the other exchange student in my club) And I met Cindy's family! :)
My little sister loves my camera and likes to take pictures and I tought that this was cute. Me and mama!
On friday we went to my school! The photo was taken in a hurry so I relly didn't check the flag and so it's wrongly haha!
On friday I went also cycling with Tore and his host father's cram school classes?(or something like that) It was too hot and I almost got lost but everything was good in the end! After that I went to night market with Tore, his host brother and his friend. We tasted different foods and almost everything was good haha : D
And finally the weekend and the Rotary trip! We went o Yilan. On the way there we visited a bee museum?
And got to taste fresh honey.
Whisky distillery. Haha my father would have liked! : D
This is Taiwanese candy. It's only sugar and it was funny to watch how the man just ummm I don't know the right word. Stretched it?
We slept in a hotel and today when we left we visited in Lanyang museum. It was about Yilan's aboriginals, nature and culture.
That's all! I met a lot of new people during the trip and yes I'm still so shy. WHY? I don't want to be shy.
The school was supposed to start on tuesday but now it's not sure because of the TYPHOON! Haha it's funny how loud the wind can be!
