溪头 & 阿里山

Not so long time no see!
Last week I went to trip with my host family. We drove to Xitou Nature Education Area. It like a hiking park up at the mountains in the middle part of Taiwan. The weather was really nice! Up at the mountains it's not even so freaking hot haha. We walked around to see some of the most popular spots there.

Bamboo bridge

This felt like hell. So sweaty haha!

Sky Walk

Huge old tree

Monster village right outside of the gate

I hab no idea what it says it just looks cool! :DD

We slept there one night and continued our trip to Ali mountain. We went to.. uhh I can't say pray cos it's not praying but like Taiwanese version of it what we call baibai .. to Taiwan's richest temple. It's really small actually but the toilet was huge and they had waterfall there.

On our way o Ali mountain

We ate lunch here. It's very famous haha. Yes it's a train station. Alishan = Ali mountain

When we got up to the mountain it started raining so we just checked around the stores they had and went to take a nap! After the rain stopped we went for a walk to the Ali mountain's park. We saw amazing sunset! And the temperature dropped to 16c. It was freezing.

We woke up at 3:30 the next morning and took a mountain train to see the sunrise. It was beautiful! Right away after we got down at 6 we packed and started driving to see Yu mountain (Jade mountain) which is Taiwan's highest mountain. We didn't go walking we were so tired. Visited temples on the way home and slept. And ate amazing duck rice!

Found a new friend!

UpUpUp

Next day I went out with my host cousin. We ate bagels and ice cream near Taipei 101. And we went to see the new Spiderman movie! Amazing!

Friday was packingpacking day!

On the evening Aoi came and we went to Miramar with my host cousins and their parents. Fun! And later night market of course haha.

Saturday was my last day spent with first host family. I went to Sanxia and they took me to Yingge ceramics museum and later for dinner.

Miks suomalaiset on aina tylsia?

On sunday I went to Danshui with my host parents. My host dad had his high school reunion. Shopping yay. I got new Taiwan flag it's huge! <3

Hard to imagine this is my second last post from Taiwan! I still have one last post planned but that's it. Finished. It's almost time to say baibai to Taiwan and long time no see to Finland. It's scary. Very confusing and mixed feelings.

I'll be back someday I promise.
