Big Rotary trip around Taiwan

It's time for lot's of photos! The big trip yayaya! It was 27.5-2.6.

1st day!

Our trip started with driving to SanYi where we painted those wooden ducks haha. We ate lunch there and continued to Sun Moon lake. It was little rainy but we still took the cable car up. It was njah kinda boring haha. My camera didn't like the rain drops so they are in every picture I took. After that we had a boat thing on the lake we went around and some local guy told stories about the lake. Later that evening we got to taste some local tea.

2nd day!

From Sun Moon lake we headed to Tainan. On the way we stopped at old sugar factory and took  mini train there. It was... slow. We also went to a farming village in the middle of nowhere. We dyed some scarfs and painted those funny hats. Our hotel was chool haha we had elephants instead of lions! And that picture of elevator buttons, I don't know have I explained why there's no 4th or 14th floor? It's because number four sounds like a word death in chinese. This hotel though didn't have even the 13th floor don't know why haha.

3rd day!

We first stopped at Buddha memorial center. There is the biggest outdoor buddha of the world or something like that. It was 42m high. The weather was so hot and burning. We ate japanese barbeque for lunch and continued our trip to Kaoshiung. We went to E-da theme park. The theme park was okay not really exciting and that but there was a moomin land! haha. And the haunted house was awful. It started raining really bad so we had to run and still we got soaked. Boys and some girls did this stupid sliding thing because there was so much water haha. We had the whole evening free so we went shopping to the huge mall next to our hotel. We didn't get to go to the ferris wheel on the roof of the mall.

4th day!

We drove to Kenting and went to National museum of marine biology and aquarium. It was nice haha. They had penguins! We ate lunch and those jeep cars came to get us from the restaurant. The jeep ride was amazing! We got so soaked because we went to drive in a river haha.Our next stop was go-kart or something. I love it but we got to drive only 8 minutes. And the most awaited thing from Kenting BEACH! We spent like two hours at beach. I'm not such a big fan of that but it was okay. We had barbeque for dinner and later we got to go to night market. I found flip flops big enough! Happy! 

5th day!

We had a very painful paintball game in the morning. It was deadly hot with those clothes. And there was huge amount of mosquitoes. We drove to Taidong. It started to rain so we had to make changes to our plans. We were supposed to go biking but instead we went to a museum that was about history and aboriginals. Our hotel was a hot spring resort! And oh yea we were in a newspaper! 

6th day!

I have only two photos from this day because only thing we did was rafting and my camera is not waterproof which has been proven before. Rafting was cool and tiring. Everyone got nice sunburns haha! Mine was one of the worst once. It hurt. In the evening we had a party because it was the last evening and lot of people was going home already the next week and because it was Maggie's birthday. Fuuun. I went to sleep early though. 

7th day!

 Morning call was super early. We went river tracing. We got wet suits and helmets and went to walk to a river. It was fun haha. We got to jump from the rocks and slide down the river like rafting without a boat. It was cool even if the water was cold and the sunburn painful.

After that was Taroko. I've been there now three times. But yea it's still beautiful. Then we still had time before our train so we went to beach. Well actually there was six of us at the beach and the rest were sleeping in the bus. The mexicans buried the germans into stones haha! We had pizza and then four hours in the train.

生日快樂 & last meeting with exchange students

Loong time no see dueibuduei?

Well I've been busy. Really busy. We had the Rotary trip and this week I was sick monday and tuesday, wednesday was my birthday and I kind of graduated yesterday. Soo haha I have a good reason not to be able to write here.

And oh yeah thismorning around 5am I woke up by earthquake. I've never before felt it that strong. It was kinda weird.  It actually was also in the finnish news but nobody seemed to care because no one asked if I'm okay or anything haha :D
But yea back to the actual post yay.

生日快樂 小 葵! It was Aoi's birthday on the 24th.

We celebrated with her class. They played a game and Aoi got to draw on the losers faces haha! The cake was delicious.

On that friday was our school club performances. There was dancing and music shows. And cheerleading!

After school we went out wit Frinda and Jessica. They are ex-exchange students haha. Frinda went to Finland last year! We went for dinner and to buy finnish chocolate near Taipei 101.

On saturday we had plans with Aoi and Gillian but in the morning Aoi called me and told that she's sick so we didn't go.

Instead I went to see english drama with some classmates and my teacher. It was some university's language department's annual play. The name of this one was the crimes of the heart. It was funny that sometimes I had to check the chinese subtitles because I didn't understand their english :D

And now here you have to leave one week of emptiness in your brains okay ma? I will post about the big trip later!

On thursday after school music teacher took us out to eat and to a concert at National concert hall. Wow the concert hall was beautiful. And the music was interesting! I will get photos of the trip later!

Friday I had Rotary meeting. They had cake and presents for me! After that me and Lian met with Minyun and went to eat dinner. And IKEA!! Yaay. It was extra small ikea we only spent like half hour there. But I felt so like home there haha! They had meat balls and smashed potatoes but we had already eaten so we promised to go back someday to eat. And we got cinnamon buns! And in the tiny store they had all the same stuff as in finland! Ahh.

Saturday was the last Rotary happening for us. We had some DIY stuff at some farm in Shulin. Haha it was fun. And most probably saw some exchange students for the last time ever. Kinda confusing feeling.

After the happening I went to Yingge wit Sasa and her host mom. We shopped around and did pottery!

Today I went shopping with Sasa and we went to Taipei main undergroung market and ximending. I spent a lot of money. Hups. And omg I saw YOGA  LIN! Yayaya! haha. And we ate pizza!
