花蓮!

Haiyo!

School started todayy! 我不要 !  It was okay but I'm not okay with waking up at 5:30am huh.

My new home is pretty cool! The bed is kinda hard though. My neck hurts. But seiously the area I live in now is amaazing. SO MUCH FOOD EVERYWHERE ^________^

Okaaaay to the main point of this post. Hualien is soo amazingly beautiful. We had three days trip with three other exchange students and two of their host families. We went there by train and the whole trip was full of activities.

The first day when we got there we left right away to some japanese style house or temple or something. We ate pizza for lunch!

From there we continued to a small lake and went around with paddle boats. We went really far haha and the wind was kinda strong so it wasn't o easy to come back.

Next stop was at old wood factory which is now a museum.

I think I'm going pretty fast and don't really feel like explaining so much sorry. We went to eat ice cream at this weird place where was tiny lakes and frogs and stuff.

This is a very old style of fishing

Our second last stop was hot springs! Whaaa so warm. And they had sauna there but it was only 38 degrees warm!It was cool though we only put our legs to the water. From there we went to eat dinner to a night market. fried rice yay!

The next day we left pretty early to see some umm cliff? somewhere. It actually was the same place we visited with my host family haha. But last time we didn't go down!

This dog kinda followed us haha soo 可愛 ~~

From the beach we headed to Taroko national park. We went to see info video and get some stamps haha. Then our driver leftus to the entrance of one of the hiking/walking trails. It wasn't very long and the views were amazing. We ate our lunch subways at small aboriginal village in the middle of the trail.

After we walked back our next stop was famous aboriginal style hotel up at the mountains. There was a lot of cherry flowers! So beautiful!

Yaay! Finland, Italy, Germany and USA!

Then we drove to some ancient river thing. Sorry my explanations are really accurate haha. It was amaziing. We walked along the edge of the cliff.

Yea we had to wear funny helmets!

We were supposed to go to another hiking trail but it was getting late so it would have gotten dark too early. So instead we just stopped to take photos of this temple and headed to a restaurant.

We went to eat at Burma/Myanmar styled restaurant. Sounds interesting yeh.The food was gooood! Especially the sweet bread we had was good. Also they had this plum juice/tea thing that tasted like christmas to me! OIKEESTI SE MAISTU IHAN JOULUTORTUILTA.

After eating we had spent little time playing games at some small night market and then decided to go bowling with a few exchange students who lives in Hualien.

The last day we spent biking along the sea and in the city. It was very sunny and hot day. We got burned pretty badly. It's so unfair that asian people don't get burned!

It's a flower yay

We stopped to drink coffee/tea at some nice small cafe. Before returning to hotel we went to buy taiwanese candy kind of thing moachi it's sooo good BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE COCONUT FLAVOR ;________; Then we ate curry for dinner at the train station cos our train was late yay it was good.

Whiuuu.
This monday was the Lantern festival of lunar calendar and my host mom took me first to a temple and then to see lanterns at Sun Yat-Sen Memorial hall. It was pretty chool haha!

Yeah that's all this time.
BYEE.
